Twelve Stories Challenge: November’s Prompt

A little late this month, but you know what they say: better late than never. November’s prompt had me stumped. I’ve been so busy this month I haven’t had time to look up from my desk to seek inspiration in the world around me. That is until Torchlight Mysteries contacted me about their wonderful project at Wymering Manor. You can read more about that here.

Such an evocative place is sure to provide inspiration for any writer and so this month’s writing prompt is Wymering Manor. The oldest building in Portsmouth, mentioned in the Doomsday book and thought to be haunted:

Heres what to do next:

  • Write a story of 1000 words or less
  • On the last day of the month I will post my story on the blog and on  my website, tweet and Facebook the link, and you can post a link to your story in the comments below either post.
  • By sharing our stories we can learn from each other, push ourselves outside our comfort zone and most importantly, have fun!

Good Luck!

Have fun.

See you at the end of the month.
