Yesterday we received a very exciting parcel from the beans at The Organic Gardening Catalogue! They have very kindly sent us lots of seeds to try out and we are so excited about all the vegetables we’ll be growing this year.
It’s been a bit of a cloudy day today here in the south of England but after weeks of sunshine we are due a bit of rain. So, before it arrives, Bean and I spent the afternoon constructing a Veg Patio-patch ready for our new plants.
This is what we plan to plant in it:
The radishes in the strawberry pot is a bit of an experiment and we’ve never grown cucumbers before so we’re excited to try them. I’ll be posting a full review on the blog once the seeds are planted and we’ll be watching their progress closely.
Oh, and we also have green beans, sunflowers and herbs in the greenhouse acclimatising ready to go in on of the borders.
If we’re successful and grow lots of veg then we’ll let you know what we cook with them! We can’t wait to get started.
