When I was a very little bean, still in my old space, mummy bean used to have lots of time for cups of tea and she used to read tea leaves over on her writing blog. This is called tasseomancy but for a long time now mummy bean hasn’t had time to get the fresh leaves out and swirl away.
After one of her blogging friends said he was sad Friday tasseomancy was no more, this morning, I decided I should let mummy bean have the time to indulge in a bit of tea leaf reading. We’re going to try to make this a weekly thing so here goes, back by popular demand, one, two, three and swirl it’s Just Leaves Friday!
Tea used for reading: Lemon Tea from Char Teas, Winchester. A refreshingly light lemon peel, with black tea leaves.
1) Dragon: This is a symbol of power and obstacles that need to be overcome. It may be a sudden change but it can also mean good luck.
2) Two sitting dogs : more than one dog signifies a gathering of friends
3) Flying Bird: A flying bird, towards the bottom of the cup shows that mummy’s practical interested will be successful.
4) Viking Long Boat: A boat is all about a message. It could be a need to work harder to achieve goals. It also signifies happiness.
So this week, mummy bean may have some obstacles to overcome but if the boat and the bird are right, she’ll get there with some hard work and will achieve happiness in the practical aspects of her life. Perhaps she’ll find this through friends like the dogs show? Mummy bean says we are going to meet new people next week at a gathering we are going to, so that should be fun. Maybe they are the friends? I’ll let you all know how our week goes next Friday, so put a date in your diary and join us for Just Leaves Friday again next week.
If you beans fancy having a go at some amateur tasseomancy yourself and being a guest on ‘Just Leaves Friday’, then we’d love to hear from you. Just drop me a line via firstname.lastname@example.org.
