When you get to the end of your onion jar, don’t get in a pickle, you can use that leftover vinegar for cooking or decant it into a bottle for your chips. I like chips! Grandma bean uses the oil from the olives to cook with, once all the olives have been eaten.
These are two really easy ways to use up leftovers and be a green bean. Don’t forget to recycle the glass jars in your bottle bank or wash them out and sterilise them ready for jam making from your foraged fruits!
